THE SECOND WOMAN PRESIDENT IN AFRICA, JOYCE BANDA OF MALAWI'S


The continent of Africa now had the a second woman president after Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia.  Joyce Banda  was sworn in Saturday as the new president of the Southern African nation of Malawi, After the death of Mutharika of Malawi, though she was the vice president. According to Malawi constitution the vice president is to take over the leadership if the president dies.
